Mr. Jean-Yves Blanc

He obtained a degree of Engineer (Ingénieur Civil des Mines) in 1980 from École des Mines de Saint-Étienne.
He has spent more than 35 years at CEA in the nuclear field, successively in PWR fuel studies on both fuel manufacturing and post-irradiation fuel examinations, then as Program Manager for hot laboratory facilities, then for radioactive waste facilities.
His present position is responsible at the Nuclear Energy Division of CEA for international collaboration with Russia and several Asian countries, including China, India and South Korea.
