Robert Winsley

He obtained a PhD in Corrosion Science at University of Birmingham in 2008.
• Robert has over 15 years of relevant research experience, 11 of which have been gained whilst working on the UK and other international geological disposal programmes.
• His present position is Senior Research Manager within RWMs, Technical Function, where he is responsible for obtaining solutions (i.e. scientific knowledge) by acting as ‘Intelligent Client’, for areas such as spent fuel, evolution, container corrosion and criticality safety. Robert was the Secretary General of the IGD-TP in 2017 and 2018 and is currently a PMO technical coordinator for the EURAD Joint Programme.
