Dr. Johan BERTRAND

He obtained in 2008 his Join doctoral degree in physic and chemistry between the University of Tübingen (Germany) and l’École des Mines de Saint-Étienne (France)
He has more than 10 years of experience on monitoring project in the perspective of the geological disposal of radioactive waste, focused on the development of robust and performant sensors (new gas sensor, optical sensor, wireless solution…). He is actively engaged in the evaluation of monitoring system in the underground laboratory of Bure.
He present position is Research engineer in instrumentation inside the research and development division of ANDRA. He is the coordinator of the Modern2020 project
