Biography

Has a PhD in Physics from the Catholic University in Leuven (Belgium) and a post-graduate from the same university in science communication and –education.
She has over 10 years experience as researcher in materials sciences and radiation protection, and about 20 years experience in education and training matters.
She is currently Head of the SCK•CEN Academy for Nuclear Science and Education, dealing with all aspect of knowledge transfer and competence building in the nuclear R&D topics of the Belgian Nuclear Research Centre.
