Biography

She obtained her degree in economics from the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies.
She has an extensive and rich experience of over 25 years in the banking and financial industry, and has held strategic top management positions in both private and state-owned organisations. From 2013-2017 she was Chief Executive Officer of Nuclearelectrica.
She is currently the Head of the Office of Policy and Co-ordination at the OECD’s Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA), responsible for ensuring consistency in Agency policies and practices, communications, relations with NEA member countries, and overseeing the development of multilateral co-operation initiatives as well as relations with industry organisations, research institutions, think tanks, academic and other relevant international non-governmental organisations interested in energy and the environment.
