Biography

Dr Stéphane Bourg is Project Manager at the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission in the Research Department on Mining and Fuel Recycling Process located in the CEA Marcoule Research Center, in charge on international cooperation.
Stéphane graduated has an Engineer from the Ecole Supérieure de Physique et Chimie Industrielles de Paris and is Doctor in Chemistry.
He joined the CEA in 1999 as research engineer and was involved in pyrometallurgical process development for nuclear spent fuel reprocessing. Since 2008, he has been the Coordinator of European research projects dealing with hydro- and pyro- separation process development (ACSEPT, SACSESS) and of research infrastructure networks (ACTINET-I3, TALISMAN). He is the coordinator of the GENIORS project, on advanced spent fuel reprocessing,
He is still involved in research activities related to life cycle assesment of energy systems and raw materials value chain analysis.
He is author or co-author of about 30 publications, author or co-author more than 15 proceedings on the last 5 years and has given more than 30 oral presentations in international conferences over the last 5 years
